Trustworthy Care You Can Count On
About the Owner
Abby Dyer started Happy Tails Pet Sitting Company in 2024 in her hometown of Dalton, GA. Prior to that, Abby attended the University of Georgia where she obtained her Bachelor of Psychology degree.
While at UGA, she worked for a premier pet sitting company, Athens Pet Sitter. During her time at APS, Abby handled regular pet sitting duties and additionally learned the managerial and financial side of the business.
Abby has had a passion for working with animals for as long as she can remember. She felt this type of business was a perfect fit for her and would fill a much needed service in the NWGA area.
Abby lives with her family, 3 dogs - Dune, Ruby, & Pepper, and cat - Tails.
About Happy Tails
Happy Tails Pet Sitting Company is a local, woman-owned business and we consider our clients, both humans and pets, to be part of our family.
We believe that when you’re away it’s nice to have peace of mind knowing your pets can stay in the safety and comfort of their home and maintain their normal routine.
With this in mind, we have designed a range of services to meet the varied needs of dogs, cats, other pets — and you. We are here to design a pet care plan for you, and to ensure that plan is executed to the highest standard.
What Our Clients Are Saying
“Abby always treated my dogs like her own and my mind was always at ease knowing she was caring for them when I was away. She was a wonderful communicator, and she always left my home better than she found it. Over the past several years, I came to consider Abby a dear friend, as well as my dog’s favorite auntie.”

“When I traveled out-of-state Abby stayed at my house overnight to care for the dogs.
